Community Legion Hall

The Wadena Community Legion Hall was completed in 2004 and it replaced the original Legion Memorial Hall that was constructed in 1949.  The new Legion Hall sits on the same site as that first Hall, the Town of Wadena purchased an extra lots to the south, in order to make the capacity of the new Hall greater as well as house extra meeting rooms.

Some of the other nice features about the Legion Hall:

The kitchen is a big as some houses in Wadena.  It is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, utensils, large pots, portable electric ovens and slow cookers.  The gas range has six burners, a grill and two ovens.  There is a separate electric warming oven and commercial dishwasher.  There are two commercial fridges and a commercial freezer.
