NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND ZONING BYLAW NO. 2/87
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Wadena intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 2/87, known as the Zoning Bylaw.
The proposed bylaw will add boarding of up to four persons as a permitted use in the R1 and R2 – Residential Districts and provide for a definition of boarding.
The applicant proposes the amendment to allow for accommodation of boarders in a residential dwelling.
Any person may inspect the bylaw at the Town Office between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
Council will hold a public hearing on January 7th, 2019 at 5pm in Council Chambers at the Town Office, located at 102 Main Street North, to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing (or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing).
