2nd St SW Water Issues

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Public Works and Utilities be authorized to do more frequent flushing and conduct directional flushing in the affected area and around town. FURTHERMORE, that numbers at the plant be checked regularly to conduct proactive measures in dealing with the situation.

RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the 2021 Operating and Capital budgets be approved as presented with a duly amended copy of the approved budget attached hereto. FURTHERMORE, that as per budget the Mill Rate be set at 14".

Mill Rate Factor Bylaw

RECOMMENDATION
“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-02, being a bylaw to amend Mill Rate Factor 05-2019, be introduced and receive first reading.”

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-02 be read a second time.”

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-02 receive three readings at this meeting.” 

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-02 be read a third and final time and adopted.”

Base Tax Bylaw

RECOMMENDATION:
“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-03, being a bylaw to amend Mill Rate Factor 04-2019, be introduced and receive first reading.”

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-03 be read a second time.”

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-03 receive three readings at this meeting.”

“THAT Bylaw No. 2021-03 be read a third and final time and adopted.”

Transfer from Capital Trust Fund

RECOMMENDATION:
“THAT Administration be authorized to transfer $62,000 from the Capital Trust Fund (Transportation Reserves) to the General Operating Account. FURTHERMORE, that $6,200 be included as budgeted transfer to the transportation reserves each year until 2032”.
