That payment of the accounts represented by Cheques #23977 to #24015 and #2236 to 2267 and #2270 to #2400 -Man totalling $152,026.73; and payroll vouchers #2890 to #2924 totalling $40,419.30 be approved as presented and attached hereto.

That the proposal submitted by TSL Mechanical for the Gas Tax Fund project of “Components for the Water Treatment Process and Disinfection System & Distribution Pump” in the amount of $380,537.00 plus applicable taxes be accepted; and that the proposed work be scheduled to be completed in the 2023 year.

Bylaw 2023-01 Water and Sewer System

 Resolution:

THAT Bylaw No. 2023-01 being a Water and Sewer System bylaw to repeal Bylaw No. 2002-04,

Bylaw No. 2018-16, and Bylaw No. 2019-03 be hereby given first reading.  Carried

 THAT Bylaw No. 2023-01 be hereby given second reading.  Carried

  • A proposed bylaw must not have more than two readings at a council meeting unless the members of council present unanimously agree to consider third reading.

 THAT Bylaw No. 2023-01 be hereby given three readings at this meeting. Carried Unanimously

THAT Bylaw No. 2023-01 be hereby given third and final reading. Carried

 

 Resolution:

That Policies P2010-002 Water and Sewer Line Repair, U-003 Frozen Utility Services, and P2004-001 Roto Rooter Rental be rescinded.

Fish on Ice Fishing Derby - Porta Potties

That the Town supply six (6) porta potties for the Fish on Ice Fishing Derby to be held Saturday,  February 18, 2023.

Resolution:

THAT those property owners that have either made payments or paid in full their arrears and were applied a 20% penalty, be refunded by cheque the difference in penalty between 20% and 2% as follows:
