Under this Department's umbrella is Wadena's primary recreational facilities including the Wadena Legion Community Hall, Aquatic Centre, Fitness Centre, McClymont Sports & Fair Grounds, Recreation Centre, which is home of the Wadena ice rink. In addition to managing the operations, programming and maintenance of these facilities, Parks & Recreation also takes care of the town's municipal grounds and green spaces, parks, and trails.
